2Gether We Eat is a community based 501(c)3 youth hydroponic farming program. This organization provides food, education, training, and employment using Hydroponics to help fight the food crisis in food deserts across our communities. We donate 100% of all our fruits and vegetables into the community through food banks and nonprofit organizations. In addition to these partnerships we work with academic institutions and municipalities as well.
With the world only having 3% freshwater, we at 2Gether We Eat realize the importance of preserving Mother Earth using Hydroponics, we use 70% less water than your traditional farmer. By utilizing this method we are considered as a STEM program with our use of subjects such as basic math, biology, and chemistry. At 2Gether We Eat we get a chance to teach our communities about healthy eating habits and the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables through our youth farming program.
